yesterday's antics...
isa put on her funny pants yesterday. which included tromping around the house with her kitty... giving him hugs then bodyslamming him. and then walking around with her glasses on (it was dark out) because suddenly that's cool. let's hope that trend keeps up as the snow falls, otherwise it's going to be a long winter of convincing her she needs to wear them!

we're back!
the return trip went off without a hitch (or any spilling of bodily fluids) and we are home safe and sound. and tired. very tired. we were happy to be home and to return to a clean and comfy little house. which has also become the home, apparently, to a very cute little mouse. he (or she) is living under our fridge at the moment, though the daddy feels sure that his homemade mouse trap will have that little sucker outta here in no time. we'll see about that. but for now, miss baby sleeps and we are not far behind. more pics of the little vacation to come, so stay tuned (if aunt amanda or gramma schneider is reading this, we need some pics please!).

little va-cay...
don't panic anyone. we are just fine. and on a little mountain vacation with the schneider fam! more pics to come later, but just a little update...
we left home on saturday and spent a few days near denver with some good friends. it was a great time and we enjoyed a little big city living for a few days. the mommy enjoyed the shopping (for the business, of course!) and being able to actually walk into a store, pick up fabric, turn it over, check it out, and then buy it and leave with! sweet. miss baby enjoyed all the new things to explore. oh, and the carseat! she enjoyed the carseat! the difference is nothing short of amazing. seriously. she is a different child facing forward. ok, minus the car sickness episode. we are not sure if it was a virus or the new view in the car, but let's just say that we will never feed her peas and rice again. mainly because the mommy will never be able to stomach it, even though isa is the one eating it. yuck.
we are now in a little town in the mountains, enjoying the comforts of a big fat rental house. and a hot tub. isa loves the ole hot tub, that little fish! we are headed home in a few days but will try to post some pics in the meantime!

the big girl seat
guess who's moving up to the big girl seat? that's right. miss baby. and while, technically, she can still fit in her infant seat quite well (and could for atleast another 10lbs), we are hoping that the big girl seat will enhance everyone's driving enjoyment. so far she likes it, but as a jungle gym, so we'll see.

little shop announcement...
the ole sweatshop is getting busy these days. and that also means it's getting crowded! so i need to clear out some older stuff to make room for other things in the shop. what does that mean exactly? that anything already on sale ships FREE. yep, free (within the united states of course). so go check it out!
p.s. i am just getting around to changing all of the shipping on those sales items. so if you beat me to it and purchase something before shipping gets changed, i'll just refund it right back to you!

the weekend...
ahhh, the weekend. we love the weekend. even when miss baby is sick. the first pic is from the airshow on saturday. apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as isa liked the planes at the show. the second pic was taken this morning, after a very, very long night. isa came down with a case of croup at around midnight. *yawn* she is doing great today, considering, so we are really hoping she has a better night. and no, it's not that cold in our house. she is wearing a scarf to keep her neck warm, in accordance with one of many naturopathic remedies for croup. it is getting cold here though, thank goodness! we've enjoyed the cooling down and have used it as a good excuse to bundle up and stay inside this weekend. ahhhh, the weekend.

all dressed up...
... for the party! we went to a barbeque at a friend's house this evening where miss baby showed off her pink party dress. and her little attitude, as that last picture suggests ;-) but it was definately a good time and isa showed her friends how to dismantle a croquet course in record time! good job goose!
our little (congested) bullfrog...
the mommy and daddy agree that miss baby is one very sweet little sickling. for someone who sounds like a very congested bullfrog, she really is a trooper. despite all of the coughing and grossness, she is still a very happy kiddo. thank goodness.
and yes, her socks do match her pajamas *rolls eyes* but the mommy just couldn't help herself this morning. i mean, she hasn't worn socks in atleast three months, so why not go all out and have matching one? exactly!

to the gods of cold & flu...
leave us alone. we don't like you or your stinkin' colds. love, isa
you guessed it, isa has another cold. and she just got over one. uh. how is it that we make it nearly an entire year with hardly a sniffle and then she gets two full on colds in less than three weeks. blah.

a good sport!
isa took a time out from her usual afternoon moodiness to humor the mommy and her camera. i needed a model for the hedgehog onesie i just added to the shop and isa was kind enough to cooperate. we thought the pictures were blog worthy, regardless of the onesie!
