here's the big girl's room. complete with sheepskin rug, bookshelf, toys, and no crib! isa loves it and has a hard time staying in bed with all the fun stuff to get into. but we're glad she likes it and is enjoying the space alot already. there are some details that will be changed (like the wall colors, we'll be repainting it with something more nuetral this winter) and a few prints will be added to the wall. but for now, here it is!

ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE it! And especially the green. Sadly with our plum carpet it's hard to swallow any wall paint other than something incredibly neutral, but I love bright cheery colors. Sarah*s house is exactly like that.

Hey, the old sheepskin rug looks pretty darn good. I think Isa has adjusted remarkably well to the big bed. Sure is a lot more room without the crib. XOXOXOXO Nanny
ReplyDeleteas for the wall color... oy. it's really hard to get the perfect green! in natural light for part of the day it's *just* right... the rest of the time, i hate it! it's almost fluorescent when the overhead light is on, which is not what i was going for. and for resale, we'll need want to paint is anyway, so it won't be sticking around much longer.

Hope there is some whimzy left when you go "neutral"....lol Room looks just like Isa should have it that way!... but alas, all good things must pass... but, there will be such fond memories... keep working at establishing those traditions... they are important.. something you can count on... love you all xoxoxo
