big sister in action
Yes, we do still have another child. She has been warming up to her new sister slowly, at her own speed, and it seems to be working better than I expected. She has had a lot of attention this past week, primarily from her Bubba who came from Georgia to help with the transition. Many thanks!
Here are some shots from a Saturday trip to the Buffalo Park (our name), which is at the mouth of Sinks Canyon. It seems that she has become such a big girl in the last two weeks. She can very clearly count to ten, she knows so many animals and the sounds they make, and she can ask for just about anything she wants or needs. Now with Sylvi in comparison, she seems so heavy and her hands and feet are so big. I'm so proud of her for being up to the task of big sister...

What a sweet picture of the three of you Blair. Bubba is so sad to be leaving tomorrow. He may try to smuggle Isa with him, so keep an eye out! I can't wait to see everyone and to meet Sylvi, maybe it won't be to long. In the meantime take care of yourself and your beautiful family! I love and miss you all, Queen
ReplyDeleteBig shout out to you Isa!!!!! You are going to be the very best big sister ever. It's so strange how in a matter of hours you are no longer the baby that you had been when mommy and daddy left for the hospital. I am so proud of you...I love you all. See you Tuesday. Nanny
ReplyDeleteWow... what great pics! Glad ISA is getting out to run off some energy and keep Bubba and Daddy hopping! I know Bubba has made a big difference for ISA and PHIL and Blair too. The pic of Isa with Sylvi just too cute. Keep them coming. Love to all.. xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteBlair there is something about that picture of the three of you that looks very 70's-ish. Maybe the part in your hair or something? I love it. It's a picture you're going to be looking back on forever!
ReplyDeleteAnd OMG please, Isa and Sylvi's grandparents are killing me with all of their sweet comments!
