Little Swimmer...

The first ever Miss Baby swim lesson went off without a hitch! What can I say, the girl likes the pool! Though the Mommy must admit, it was a little hectic... picture this: a bazillion kids splashing and kicking and diving and laughing and crying, all in a huge space that echos like a rock and roll concert hall. Whoo. The groups were seperated into different sections of the pool so it was quite manageable, but definately loud and crazy.

But enough with those other kids, how did Miss Baby do? Great! It took her a minute or so to get used to the c..c..co...co....cold water (which for the record was really stinking cold) but then she was splashing around with the best of them. There were only four kiddos in her class (from 9 months to 2.5 years) so there was lots of time with the teacher. We floated, we splashed, we kicked. We decided, however, to save the underwater thrills for tomorrow, just in case all the other newness was a little much for one day. After the session in the big pool, we headed over to the wading pool where Isa could sit and play, and where the water was much warmer. After that, it was off to the hot pool (think bathwater hot) for a final warm up.

It was a definate success overall and the Daddy even got to swim with us (take that you silly one parent rule!). Can't wait to go back tomorrow. The Mommy got the video loaded but something went awry and it's really pixalated... don't know why exactly. Shrug.
