we survived. whew. sorry, but there will be no festive fourth of july pics. amidst all the mayhem we just never thought to break out the camera. it was very loud day around here with high-decible firecrackers going off constantly for about 12-18 hours (the Mommy does not exaggerate here, people). but by some miracle isa actually slept through it. the Mommy and Daddy? well not so much. but miss baby slept like a rock. so well that we were beginning to wonder if she was breathing in there. but she was breathing, quite contently actually. and then she woke up and asked, "mommy, when did we move to gaza?"
the fam did attend one very nice bbq at our friend missy's house. there was lots of amazing food, a beautiful garden, many friends, and one happy little baby making her way across the backyard. and it even rained! yes rained! we can't remember the last time that happened. it was absolutely fabulous. refreshingly fabulous.
happy fifth of july everyone!
