mr. bagel face

isa has been really interested in the Pretend Soup book nanny got her for christmas. she likes to flip through the recipes and tell us what they make. her favorite so far is Mr. Bagel Face, which she and daddy made this morning. as you can see, it's a pretty fun snack to make and eat! and the possibilities are endless-- today's Mr. Bagel was made with a sesame bagel, cream cheese, green pepper for a mouth, a cherry tomato for the nose, olive eyes, shredded mozzarella hair and kiwi slices for ears. very yummy, entertaining, and healthy too! we'll keep you posted on what we make next!

  1. LOVE IT...what a great way to get kids to eat healthy, although that has never been a problem with the girls. I still want to make one of the plates with the face that can be "decorated" with food.

  3. Consider it done. Didn't see them at Relish Friday when I was in there but I found them before online. I can also make one at the pottery place here.
